The Project Goal
At Story Mark, we like to practice what we preach. Last fall, we launched a new pilot program called “The Pod Playbook” to generate leads and acquire new customers through online podcast marketing and growth. To attract our initial customers, we used social ads and our organic followings to drive traffic to a webinar on podcast growth. At the end of the webinar, we offered the pilot program. We had over 50 registrants for the webinar and sold out the pilot program, which was capped at 8. This generated direct sales that resulted in a 10X ROI on our ad spend and funded the development of the program. Additionally, this gave us more exposure and connections for our agency clients. We believe that many B2B companies could benefit from this approach.

Locations Unknown Podcast
In 2022 we had the idea of developing a podcast growth and monetization pilot program to serve individual podcasters. We used organic social traffic, an email campaign, and Facebook ads to acquire webinar signups.
Sold-out Pilot Program
At the end of the webinar, we offered the pilot program and were thrilled the program sold out with eight members. Most importantly, our members have been receiving great results on their podcasts. Due to the success, we are looking to launch a larger program later this year!
